About Us

ABC+ is a youth group specifically for special needs teenagers aged 11 to 16. A fun teenage atmosphere is created by providing games consoles (Wii, Sony Playstation 2), football table, snooker tables, group activities run by experienced volunteers.

If you've been struggling to find a youth group in Stockport that fails to fit your particular special needs, then feel free to meet like-minded friends, and where you are guaranteed to find new friends and have lots of FUN!

Parents/Carers will need to accompany their children but there will be a separate room for Parents and carers to relax away from their teenagers.

WHERE and WHEN?

ABC+ Session times are 7:00 - 8:45pm

unless stated otherwise

We meet at 7 until 8:45pm every fortnight at Prospect House, on Derby Road, Heaton Chapel, see map on HOME page

Where have we been?

During Spring half term, we visited Chillfactore and we all had a great time tubing!

We spent our Christmas party bowling! Strike!

What Do We Do?

We have a good time with our friends. As well as meet at Prospect House we also plan trips out to the cinema, bowling and other trips.

Recently Dave Jellybean came to visit, for his first of two circus skills workshops. We enjoyed learning how to juggle with scarves, balancing peacock feathers and plate spinning!

In December 2012 we held our Christmast Part at an 'All you can eat' Chinese restaurant. We ate the whole restaurant!!!!!
